Bought this item to replace a different product that stopped working. Set up took about a minute to complete. This unit seems to be much more sensitive than the product it's replacing. It's nice that it has the option to just use lights or it can be set to beep. Also, a big requirement for me is it does not use the internet. Our internet does go out so I don't want the garage door status to depend on that. Especially at bed time. Would definitely recommend.

I bought a garage door minder and it failed after seven months. I contacted the company and spoke with Robert who thought is may be batteries and he sent me a fresh set of batteries without charge which fixed the problem. Great product and even greater customer service. Highly recommend.

Wanted a monitor that didn't need an app to use and gave a signal on the receiver that indicated door open. Receiver placed in a highly visible area so you can tell at a glance the state of the door. Basically no setup at all. Great product at a great price.
